THE date for the Loosemores League Cup final between Rhyl and The New Saints has now been confirmed as Tuesday April 27 at 7.30pm.

For the first time the showpiece will be staged in midweek, after the Welsh Premier failed to agree a Sunday date with the sponsors or the finalists.
Airbus UK Broughton will host a major final for the first time and League secretary John Deakin says: "Given the location and the reasonable chance of getting good weather on an April evening, I'm confident that the evening kick-off will work for this prestigious final."
