More live TV for new-look Welsh Premier

League launch

THE FAW officially launched the new Welsh Premier "Super 12" today with news of improved live TV coverage next season.

Each Saturday, S4C will screen a live domestic league game, which will kick-off at 3.45pm and form the centrepiece of "a comprehensive results service" from Wales and beyond.
The first fixture to be screened live will be Carmarthen Town against Aberystwyth Town from Richmond Park on Saturday 14 August in a show which goes on air at three o'clock.
The FAW has rebranded the league with a new logo and produced promotional posters for individual clubs with the slogan "No inflated ticket prices, no overpaid superstars".
The league kicks-off on Friday 13 August when The New Saints host Prestatyn Town at Park Hall.
It was also announced that the Principality Building Society will continue as the league's main sponsor next season.
