FORMER director of football Mike Davies, who decided to step down on Tuesday, insists there's been no fall out with the club.
Interviewed by BBC Radio Shropshire, Davies said: "I'd like to make the point that there's no problems with me and the club, me and Mike (Harris) have been good friends for a long time and will continue to be good friends.
"The decision hasn't come lightly but I've made that choice and it's one I've got to live with.
"A lot of people were shocked but the reaction has been good from my point of view, a lot of people sending positive messages, but for me it's about what lies beyond and what direction I'm going to go in next.
"I'm very proud of what's been achieved, you look back and there's some fantastic memories, the success that we've had in Europe in particular, and I think that the group of lads I've been working with over the last few seasons have been a credit to work with and I'll miss every single one of them.
"I will miss it, but it's time to move on and I'm excited about the future and what it holds.
"I turned 32 a few days ago and I've learned an awful lot for the age that I am, I've got a long way to go yet and an awful lot to offer.
"I'm going to switch the phone off for a week, have a holiday with the family down in Cornwall and come back and see what awaits.
"I haven't thought about anything else but having some family time and that's what I'm going to focus on now, and we'll see what happens when I get back," Davies added.
Meanwhile, first team manager Carl Darlington and assistant coach Scott Ruscoe are preparing for Friday's visit of Airbus UK Broughton to Park Hall (kick-off 7.45pm).
