THE New Saints warmed-up for the return of competitive fixtures by beating a strong Hereford United XI 5-2 in Ludlow this lunchtime.
The pick of the goals came from Tom Roberts with a stunning 30-yarder in the second half, while Greg Draper, Craig Jones, Nicky Ward and Charlie Proctor also got on the scoresheet.
The Bulls featured a mixture of first team and reserve team players in their line-up.
On Saturday, the Saints beat a Wrexham XI 5-0 at Park Hall in another practice game.
