The Manchester-born 21-year-old arrives at Park Hall from Hyde United, but began his career with Gretna, spending nine games on loan at Conference North side Workington in 2006, where he netted a hat-trick on his debut against eventual champions Northwich Victoria.
After being released by the Scottish border outfit in 2007, he joined Altrincham but, after making just three Blue Square Premier appearances, re-signed for Workington.
Berkeley was linked with a move to Bury after scoring against them in the FA Cup first round, before moving to Droylsden, Leigh Genesis, Mossley and Hyde.
