Murtagh has sights set on glory

Conall Murtagh
Conall Murtagh is looking forward to his TNS debut.
CONALL MURTAGH is setting his sights on league and cup glory with The New Saints after completing his move last week.
The Northern Ireland Under-21 international midfielder was released by mutual consent from his Wrexham contract to make the move to Park Hall.
After an injury and illness ravaged time at the Racecourse, Murtagh has instead cut his losses and decided to move to Park Hall.
"I'm at a stage where I just need to be playing games," he said. "There wasn't really much of an opening at Wrexham because the team is playing so well at the moment.
"I left the club on good terms and I really enjoyed my time at Wrexham, but I was just a bit unlucky with injuries and also getting sick.
"I'm not someone who tends to look backwards. I'd much rather concentrate on the future and where I am going.
"i am looking forward to winning trophies with TNS. Hopefully we can win the league and cup this season and kick on from there," he added.
Meanwhile, head coach Andy Cale, who also added striker Matthew Berkeley to his squad last week, says more signings could be on the way.
"I will only sign players who improve the side, rather than make signings for the sake of it," he said.
"There's still a long way to go in the league, and I still believe we can catch the two teams above us."
