JOHN Leah has become the second former Saints' player to sign for champions Rhyl over the past three days.
Named in the Welsh Premier team of the season, but told he did not figure in TNS plans for next season, Leah has resisted interest from Airbus UK Broughton, Bangor City, Neath and Newtown, to pursue his domestic career at Belle Vue.Leah scored 25 goals from 205 league appearances for TNS after first appearing while they were still called Llansantffraid in 1996.
The 30-year-old midfielder had a spell with Darlington, where he made seven Football League appearances, returning to the domestic scene with Newtown and making 31 starts before rejoining Total Network Solutions in 2001.
He won three Welsh Premier championship medals with the Saints, as well as two League Cup, one Welsh Cup and one FAW Premier Cup winners' medals.
Leah also appeared 11 times for TNS in European competitions, coming on a substitute in the 3-0 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield.
