THE Saints' record scorer John Toner has signed for Bala Town, where he will link-up with former team-mate Ricky Evans, who has also joined the Lakesiders.
Fifth on the league's all-time scorers' list, 32-year-old Toner was released after 10 seasons at TNS and was the longest-serving player at Park Hall, also holding the club scoring record with 112 goals from 181 (+79 sub) Welsh Premier appearances.
He scored 18 times from 17 (+13) league appearances last season and notched his 150th Welsh Premier goal against Caersws.
Evans made 88 league appearances for TNS between 1997 and 2002, scoring 10 goals, and is the brother of TNS defender Steve.
Bala will be his ninth domestic club, after service at Welshpool, Aberystwyth, Bangor, Flint Town United, Caersws, NEWI Cefn Druids and Rhyl.
This week, the Lakesiders have also announced the arrival of Caersws and former Oswestry, Cefn Druids and Welshpool utility man Ross Jefferies, who joins his twin brother Brett at Maes Tegid.
