HEAD coach Andy Cale believes The New Saints' squad is stronger than last season and is tipping his own players to reclaim the Welsh Premier League crown.
"We've had a decent pre-season and played some good football," he says.
"We start every season trying to win the title and we've got as good a chance as anyone.
"I'd back ourselves - I think we've got a stronger squad than last season and, without trying to be boastful, I think we've got every chance."
The Saints are quoted at an attractive 3/1 to lift the trophy behind Rhyl (even money) and Llanelli 5/4 in the bookies' latest ante-post odds.
