FORMER The New Saints' striker Alfie Carter has signed for Blue Square South strugglers Worcester City after returning from the United States.
Plagued by injury during his Welsh Premier career, Carter scored 27 goals from 47 (+20) Welsh Premier appearances after joining the Saints from AFC Telford, where he had impressed manager Ken McKenna during a pre-season friendly at the New Bucks Head.
After four seasons with the club he was released at the end of last season.
Carter experienced league football with Walsall and also played for Stafford Rangers, Bromsgrove Rovers, Newport County and Bath City.
