TNS sit-out League Cup's first week

THE New Saints sit-out the first round of group games as the Loosemores League Cup gets under way on Tuesday night.
Andy Cale's men must wait until next Tuesday to start the defence of the trophy, when they travel to Farrar Road to meet Bangor City, the side they beat in the final in April.
Meanwhile the Blues are at Newtown's Latham Park in their first game tonight while Elements Cefn Druids host Bala Town at Plas Kynaston.
Former TNS striker John Toner is in the Lakesiders' squad along with Druids' old boys Mark Powell, Ricky Evans and Osian Jones.
Airbus meet Rhyl at The Airfield, Gap Connah's Quay are at Caersws, Port Talbot and Neath meet in a local derby and Aberystwyth host Haverfordwest at Park Avenue.
