CHRIS Seargeant is definitely ruled-out of The New Saints' visit to Farrar Road on Tuesday night for a repeat of last season's League Cup final.
The former City midfielder damaged ankle ligaments early in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Carmarthen Town, but the injury is not as bad was was first feared and he should be back in action in around two weeks. Also on the treatment table are Alex Darlington, Tommy Holmes and Conall Murtagh as the Saints head for Bangor and their first group game in this season's League Cup competition.
The Citizens, who won their first game in the group 2-1 at Newtown a week ago, welcome back defender Chris Roberts from suspension.
But they are likely to be without ex-Football League veteran Dave Morley, who picked up a groin strain in the weekend's 3-1 defeat of Neath.
"TNS are a top side and we know it will be difficult, but we’ve got back-to-back wins behind us now and hopefully we can go on a bit of a run," says City boss Nev Powell.
