TWO Saints players - Aeron Edwards and Craig Jones - have won call-ups to the Welsh Under-23 semi-professional squad for a friendly against Poland next month.
Both have impressed in Saints' colour this season since signing from Caersws and Rhyl respectively and join nine other Welsh Premier players in an 18-man squad named by manager Terry Boyle.It is a first chance of an Under-23 cap for Edwards (pictured), but Jones was called-upon by his country in International Challenge Trophy games against England and Finland.
Wales play Poland at Carmarthen's Richmond Park on Tuesday September 8 (7.30pm), looking to earn places in the squad for the new round of International Challenge Trophy games which start in November.
