Saints bid to return to winning ways

TNS v Gap Connah's Quay

THE New Saints' bid to return to winning ways when they host Gap Connah's Quay at Park Hall on Friday night.

And assistant manager Mike Davies is determined to put last Saturday's defeat at Port Talbot Town behind him.
"It was just one of those days and was not meant to be," said Davies of the Genquip Stadium defeat.
"Port Talbot played well and put away their chances."
Davies hopes to welcome back midfielder Chris Seargeant along with Jamie Wood and Craig Jones for the Nomads' visit.
However striker Alex Darlington and defender Tommy Holmes will remain on the sidelines as they only returned to training this week.
"Things are coming together nicely and having these three players back will further increase our options.
"In saying that we all know how good a team Connah’s Quay are having started the season well themselves.
"We’ll go out there to try and win and get back on track and as ever just keep on improving as a squad," added Davies.
