Ladies still seeking first elusive win

As in their previous three games, TNS completely dominated, creating lots of chances and hitting post and bar twice each.
The Ladies took the lead on 35 minutes after excellent work down the right from Amy Tomei, Courtnie Cassidy, Sally Jones and Abi Francis, resulting in Kim Bebbington having an easy finish at the far post.
But, on the stroke of half-time, TNS gifted the visitors a goal after another defensive error.
In the secpnd half, the hosts soon recovered and were back in the lead when central defender Basher Davis supplied a superb ball over the top of the high City back line giving Francis a run in on goal and there was only ever going to be one winner as the keeper came out to challenge.
But with TNS in complete control, City were awarded what can only be desribed as very generous penalty after a TNS defender was alleged to have handled and the visitors converted to secure a point.
TNS are back on their travels on Sunday when they make the long trip to Loughborough hoping for that first elusive win.
