WREXHAM beat The New Saints 2-1 in a friendly match played at the Colliers Park training complex on Wednesday afternoon.
Saints took a first-half lead when a left-wing cross from Craig Williams was converted by Jamie Wood.
But a Red Dragons' side featuring several players who appeared in Tuesday night's 0-0 Blue Square Premier draw at Stevenage hit back after the break when a fierce free-kick from Wes Baynes was parried by keeper Paul Harrison, and Simon Brown netted from the rebound.
The winner arrived for the hosts when Nathan Fairhurst fired home from 20 yards.
