ON-LOAN TNS striker Craig Whitfield denied Rhyl two points as he scored in Elements Cefn Druids' 1-1 draw against the Welsh Premier leaders at Plas Kynaston on Friday night.
Whitfield raced 40 yards down the left immediately after half-time before planting his shot wide of Lillies' keeper James Coates.
Matty Williams levelled six minutes later, but the reigning champions have now dropped five points in their last two games following Saturday's defeat at Neath.
The lead the table by three points from Llanelli, Neath and Prestatyn (who lost 4-0 at Bangor City), but TNS would go level with Rhyl if they win their two games in hand.
