Saints face the Steelmen in the last four
Wednesday 28 October 2009
THE New Saints have been drawn to face Port Talbot in the semi-finals of the Loosemores League Cup.
They face a trip to the GenQuip Stadium on Tuesday November 10, with the return at Park Hall a week later.
TNS have a mixed record down in Port Talbot and have failed to win on their last seven visits to Victoria Road, but the Steelmen have fared even worse on their travels, losing on their last four visits to the Borders.
The sides met in the final three years ago, when the Saints strolled to a convincing 4-0 win.
In the other semi-final, Gap Connah's Quay meet Rhyl on the same dates.
• The re-arranged Welsh Premier fixture at Porthmadog scheduled for November 10 will obviously now have to be rescheduled again.
