LLANELLI say they are hopeful that Sunday's live S4C Welsh Premier fixture against The New Saints will go ahead as planned.
General manager Nigel Richards says that, after torrential rain over the past 24 hours, the Stebonheath Park has dried-out considerably after resembling "a boating lake" this morning.
The TNS party are due to travel down to south Wales on Saturday and there will be an inspection of the playing surface at 10am on Sunday morning.
"With the drying winds forecast for the rest of the day, the signs are favourable for the game to go ahead," says Richards.
Kick-off is scheduled for 2.35pm.
