THE bleak prospects for The New Saints' visit to Welshpool on Boxing Day were confirmed when the match was called-off on Christmas Eve.

With last Saturday's scheduled visit of Haverfordwest to Maesydre postponed due to a frozen pitch, conditions have not improved with the surface now covered by snow which fell during the night.
The sides are now due to meet at Park Hall on New Year's Day.
