EVERYONE at The New Saints FC sends best wishes for a speedy recovery to 13-year-old academy player Lewis Storey.
The youngster was hit by a car on Thursday and is in Liverpool's Alder Hey hospital with serious head injuries.
Lewis's family say they attach no blame to the driver of the vehicle, who was Wrexham's Wales Under-21 international striker Neil Taylor.
"He has had a scan and he is not showing any brain injuries," said Lewis's father Mike Storey.
"He's had a drink out of a bottle and has opened his eyes this afternoon.
"I don't think he's in danger any more, but he has a nasty knock."
A group named "Get Well Lewis Storey" has been set-up on Facebook and already has more than 600 members.
