BANGOR City manager Neville Powell is not dismissing his side’s chances of getting a result against TNS at Park Hall on Valentine's Sunday, so good is their current form.
City produced one of their best displays of the season to see off Rhyl at Farrar Road last Sunday as Powell's side face a Saints' outfit who are unbeaten at home in 12 matches in which they have conceded just three goals. The Citizens also have to end a poor recent record, as they have not beaten TNS in their last nine league meetings, eight of which have been won by the Saints.
But, after making it six wins in seven league outings on Sunday, Powell insists his side need fear no-one.
"It was vital we got that win under our belts before we go to play TNS on their plastic pitch.
"Of course it will be difficult, but the way we are playing who knows? We’ll certainly go there with confidence."
Striker Chris Sharp will be unable to play for the Saints as part of the agreement for his transfer last month was he would not face his old club this weekend.
Meanwhile, former TNS favourite Nicky Ward will feature for the visitors after an outstanding performance against Rhyl.
