NEWTOWN manager Darren Ryan was gracious in defeat after The New Saints won 2-0 at Latham Park on Saturday.
"They're the best team in the league in my eyes and they are the best team we've played," said Ryan, after first-half goals from Matthew Berkeley and Scott Ruscoe had sealed the TNS win.
"We've played some good teams in Llanelli and Rhyl, but they (TNS) are just a step above and I think they will go on to win the league," he added.
Assistant manager Mike Davies was delighted with the Saints' performance: "Very pleasing, obviously we got the early goal which we were looking for and the second one to take us into half-time and it was just a matter of shutting-up shop in the second-half," he said.
"I was delighted with the first-half performance, the way we went at it, and the performance in the second-half, the way we just closed up."
