Suspended duo miss Gnoll trip
Suspended duo miss Gnoll trip

MIDWEEK goal hero Chris Sharp misses a second trip to south Wales in five days as The New Saints' bid to maintain the pressure on Welsh Premier leaders Llanelli.
After his two goals in the 2-1 win at Carmarthen, the striker is suspended from accumulated cautions, most of which were picked-up while still at Bangor City, while Jamie Wood also misses out with a one-match ban.
With the Reds expected to win their game away at lowly Caersws on Saturday, nothing less than a win at Neath will keep the Saints in touch with their rivals, who are level on points but have two games in hand.
The Gnoll was a happy hunting ground in the league for Andy Cale's men last season, when they emerged 4-1 winners with a brace from Alex Darlington and goals from Scott Ruscoe and Duane Courtney.
But the Eagles have spent considerably on their squad since then, although their home form has been less than impressive.
However, despite six draws from their 12 games on home soil they have only been beaten once - by Aberystwyth - and will provide a stern test.
Home boss Andy Dyer goes into the game without midfielder Stephen Pockett, who is also suspended.
