A YEAR ago, The New Saints went to Rhyl to play second fiddle as the home side celebrated their Welsh Premier championship with a 2-1 win.

This Good Friday the roles are different, as the Saints need to keep on the winning trail to boost their realistic title ambitions, while the Lillies are fighting for third place and another European appearance.
The match brings Saints up against two former players in midfielder John Leah, who has been outstanding for the Lillies this season, and ex-wing back Martyn Naylor.
Since Rhyl went down 4-0 at Park Hall earlier in the campaign they have lost several key players due to financial constraints at Belle Vue and their last game was a disappointing 2-2 draw at Caersws.
But they are sure to be fired up for this encounter and player-boss Greg Strong says: "It will be a tough test, TNS are not where they are by a fluke and more often than not they do things the right way.
"If we can put Saturday’s poor performance to one side and concentrate on the positive things we do, we can give them a test."
