A STORY in this week's Powys County Times claiming that The New Saints have applied to ground share with Newtown has been dismissed as totally without foundation.

"I don't know where Gavin Grosvenor of the County Times gets his information from, but I have not spoken to him on this issue," said TNS managing director Mike Harris today.
"We have not applied to ground share at Latham Park."
The Robins' chairman Mike Jones also moved quickly to dismiss the story: "We have had no approach from The New Saints or any other club for that matter," he said.
"I am extremely annoyed that a newspaper can carry such an article that contains not a tissue of truth."
