Saints return to training again
Tuesday 01 June 2010
THE Saints' first-team squad returned to training today after a five-week break as they prepare for the Champions League and then the new Welsh Premier season.
Newly-appointed manager and assistant manager, Mike Davies and Carl Darlington, were in charge of the first session in which the only absentee was skipper Steve Evans, who is away on a delayed holiday after his first attempt was a victim of the volcanic ash cloud.
Also at the session was midfielder Jamie Wood, who has so far not been offered terms for next season.
The Saints' first competitive objective is a friendly at Welsh Premier runners-up Llanelli on Saturday June 19.
