Bucks to visit Park Hall in July
Thursday 03 June 2010
AFC Telford United, under new manager Andy Sinton, will be the visitors to Park Hall for a pre-Europe friendly on Tuesday 6 July (7.30pm).
It will be the first meeting between the Shropshire clubs for nearly three years, since the Saints won 3-0 at Treflan, with goals from Martyn Naylor, Scott Ruscoe and Luke Holden back in August 2007.
In previous meetings, the Saints were 2-1 winners at the New Bucks Head in both 2005 and 2006, while Telford drew 1-1 at Treflan in 2004.
The Bucks' skipper is Carl 'Bruno' Rodgers, who now prefers a centre-back role to the midfield position he occupied during a brief spell with TNS back in season 2003/4.
