THE New Saints' manager Mike Davies looked on as Champions League opponents Bohemians beat Dundalk 3-0 in their latest Airtricity League match on Friday night.
The Gypsies moved into second place in the table, Paddy Madden netting the opener on 50 minutes when slotting past Matt Gregg after the Dundalk defence failed to clear Aaron Greene's cross. The visitors then had sub Michael McGowan sent off for a tough tackle on Raffaele Cretaro and from the resulting free kick Ruaidhri Higgins netted number two on 86 minutes.
Gareth McGlynn then danced through the Dundalk defence and curled the third past Gregg in the final moments.
But the Dubliners struggled early on against a tough Dundalk side before finally dominating the game against unambitious opponents.
Davies moves across the border to link-up with his TNS players, who are in action in the north of Ireland on Saturday afternoon against Glentoran at The Oval (3.00pm), when Boh's boss Pat Fenlon is expected to run the rule over his opponents.
