THE club was delighted with the attendance and support at Wrexham's Racecourse Ground for the Champions League tie against Anderlecht.
With the exception of 266 travelling mauve and white supporters behing the goal, the vast majority of the 2,486 crowd in the Mold Road stand were backing the Saints and there was a standing ovation for TNS at the final whistle.
"We would like to thank all the supporters who came to the game and gave us such great support," says chief operating officer Ian Williams.
"It was great to see and we hope that some neutral supporters will have been impressed by the attractive style of football we play and come along to Park Hall to watch us in the new Welsh Premier "Super 12" this season.
"We also hope they will come along to our next European game at the Racecourse."
Williams also expressed his appreciation of the way in which everyone at Wrexham helped organised the match on the club's behalf, to make it such an enjoyable and successful occasion for everyone who was present.
