It's back to the bread and butter for Saints

TNS v CSKA final whistle

AFTER Dublin, Brussels and Sofia it's back to the bread and butter of the Welsh Premier League for The New Saints with the visit of Bala Town on Sunday (2.30pm).

"It's back to the league on Sunday and we've got a big challenge with Bala, so we've got to make sure we're ready for that one," says Mike Davies, who has enjoyed a dream start to his Park Hall managerial career.
"Six games in Europe was more than we ever dreamed of, but it's what we want again next season, I believe we're good enough and I think we've shown we can compete at this level against the best," he added.
"Hopefully it's not going to stop here, we've got to be better, the next aim is the group stages and there's no reason why we can't achieve that.
"You need the luck of the draw, but first and foremost we've got to win the league again, that's the big test now.
"I've got great belief in the squad, we've got a fantastic group of staff and players, so I think it's going to be a bright future.
"To compete against Europe's elite, what better way to play the game and the lads have done everyone proud, we've learnt a lot and now we've got to build on this and move on.
"It's been a great journey, fantastic pre-season and into the season as well.
"We've had some great games and some great memories and I think the lads can be proud of what we've achieved."
