NOBODY at Park Hall will be surprised to learn that Richie Partridge has won the Welsh Premier's player of the month award for October.
The 29-year-old Dubliner and former Liverpool trainee has turned in some superb performances since arriving at The New Saints in September and scored five goals in October towards his total of seven from eight league appearances to date.
Richie made 154 Football League appearances with Bristol Rovers, Coventry City, Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham, Chester City, MK Dons and Stockport County, and his cultured play down the left has been a considerable asset.
He was named as man-of-the-match in the Saints' games against Prestatyn Town and Neath to win the award - congratulations Richie from everyone at TNS.
