The New Saints terminate Steve Evans’ contract

IT is with regret that, following a public order offence committed on 20th September 2010, The New Saints Football Club have terminated Steve Evans’ contract with immediate effect.
The club wanted to find a resolution to the situation by negotiating a compromise agreement, the terms of which Steve originally agreed to undertake.
Unfortunately, Steve decided not to sign the agreement which left the club with no option other than to terminate his contract for serious misconduct.
The club has taken the matter very seriously and does not condone this type of behaviour from one of its players and has had to act in the manner in which it has done.
