Carmarthen game off after snow in west Wales
Saturday 27 November 2010
WINTRY conditions in west Wales have forced the postponement of The New Saints' Saturday trip to play Carmarthen Town in the Welsh Premier League.
Officials at Richmond Park called an 8.30am inspection of the Richmond Park pitch after three to four inches of snow fell on Friday afternoon left prospects for the game "very doubtful" and the fixture will now be re-arranged.
The Saints are next in action at home to Airbus UK Broughton on Friday night (kick-off 7.45pm).
