Park Hall ready for Saints' return to action
Tuesday 28 December 2010
EVERYTHING is set fair at Park Hall for The New Saints to return to Welsh Premier action after their enforced winter break.
Tons of snow were removed from the Park Hall pitch on Monday and, with the continuing thaw in the Borders, the artificial surface is in perfect condition.
In a fixture which was re-arranged after a fogged-off affair in December, TNS will play Llanelli, who have the largest backlog of any league side and have not played in any competition since November 13.
It's hardly ideal preparation for Andy Legg's side, but at least his injury-hit squad has had time to return to fitness.
However, wingman Owain Warlow will miss out through suspension while the otherwise full-strength hosts will be without wing-back Chris Marriott, who is also banned.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm and the club would welcome volunteers to help clear the spectator areas from 12 noon onwards.
