THE return of defender Phil Baker and 11-goal wingman Richie Partridge is a boost for The New Saints ahead of Saturday's top-six clash with Port Talbot Town (3.15pm).
With the mid-season split completed, the race begins in earnest for the Welsh Premier title and, despite dropping two points at Newtown a week ago, TNS boss Mike Davies is not downhearted.
"Last weekend's draw was a setback but it's not the end of the world," he says.
"We did not do quite enough to get the three points in the end, but we can take positives from our second half performance."
Injured while scoring the Saints' equaliser, midfielder Aeron Edwards is an injury doubt.
The visiting Steelmen have never beaten the Saints on the road in a league game and their hopes have taken a blow with the suspension of the influential Liam McCreesh, last year's Welsh Premier player of the season.
Manager Mark Jones hopes his side will improve on their last visit to Park Hall, when they were thumped 6-1.
"We are really looking forward to the game and we hope to put up a much better performance this time, especially in front of live television cameras," he said.
