THERE will be no game for The New Saints next weekend after Friday night's Welsh Premier fixture at Stebonheath Park was postponed.
Llanelli will instead host Prestatyn Town in a re-arranged Welsh Cup quarter-final tie, which was called off yesterday due to a waterlogged pitch.
The Saints' next date will now be a home clash with Prestatyn a week on Friday (March 11) at Park Hall, kick-off 7.45pm.
Meanwhile, manager Mike Davies was relieved to see his side through to the Welsh Cup's last four after an extra-time win over Welsh Leaguers Cardiff Grange Quins.
Goals in the added period from Matty Williams and Alex Darlington finally ended the visitors' resistance and Davies said: "Credit to them, they were a decent team, it wasn't the great performance we wanted, but we're through to the next round.
"It took a while to get the first goal but once we got it, the second soon came along.
"This is a competition we want to win and hopefully we'll be able to put the trophy in the cabinet at the end of the season."
