Saints to face Llanelli or Prestatyn in semis

Welsh CupTHE New Saints will play the winners of this weekend's re-arranged tie between Llanelli and Prestatyn Town in the semi-finals of the Welsh Cup.

Saints were first out of the bag when the draw was made by John Hartson and Gary Speed in Cardiff today and avoided a clash with current holders Bangor City, who will face Gap Connah's Quay from the Huws Gray Alliance.
Llanelli knocked TNS out of the cup at the fourth round stage in 2005/6, when an early goal from Cortez Belle dashed their hopes at Stebonheath Park.
But there has been no cup meeting in the Welsh Premier era with the Seasiders, who will be making their second appearance in the last four if they can beat the Reds on Saturday.
The ties will be played on April 9 or 10 with the dates for each and the venues to be announced.
