A LATE Scott Ruscoe equaliser ensured The New Saints came away from Neath with a deserved point after a 2-2 draw at The Gnoll.
The result means there is no change at the top of the table, as leaders Bangor City were also held to a 2-2 draw by Port Talbot Town.
Paul Harrison made a superb early save to tip away a Chad Bond 18-yarder while Chris Jones curled a free-kick just over the angle.
But the Saints responded with a first-time Richie Partridge shot just put over the bar by Eagles' keeper Lee Idzi after good work by Aeron Edwards.
Chris Sharp then gave the Saints a 40th-minute lead, heading in off the underside of the crossbar from a Craig Jones right-wing cross.
But two goals from Lee Trundle put the Eagles in front, the first a quickly-taken 22-yard free-kick.
Tommy Holmes came to the Saints' rescue with a superb block on a shot from Trundle, who sent another effort crashing against an upright.
The visitors fell behind on 72 minutes after former Football League marksman Trundle converted a penalty after he was adjudged to have been brought down by keeper Harrison.
But, with time running out, Ruscoe grabbed a late equaliser when his 22-yard effort bounced to deceive Idzi and find the back of the net, to keep the Saints hot on the heels of the leaders.
