Saints win, but title race will go to the wire

TNS v LlanelliTHE Champagne corks failed to pop on Easter Monday despite The New Saints beating Llanelli 3-1 at Park Hall.
Title rivals Bangor City produced a surprise 2-1 away win against Neath at The Gnoll to keep their title dreams alive and ensure that next weekend's game at Farrar Road will be the decider.
Craig Jones provided the inside pass for Chris Sharp to give the Saints a 14th-minute lead, but they were made to work hard for victory.
Missing regular defenders Phil Baker and Tommy Holmes, the home rearguard failed to mark Rhys Griffiths, who headed-in from a right wing cross for his 24th goal of the season eight minutes later.
Reds' keeper Ashley Morris was the main barrier between the Saints and more goals, pulling-off a stunning first-half save to deny Richie Partridge and making several other stops in a flawless handling performance.
But, despite losing Jones to a groin injury at the break, TNS dominated the second period and Sharp added his second with a superb individual strike on 22 minutes after some neat inter-passing from his team mates.
And the win was sealed on the hour when Stuart Jones handled Scott Ruscoe's cross and Matty Williams converted the resulting penalty.
