THE New Saints have qualified for the inaugural finals of the FAW Futsal competition.
A young TNS side coached by Eric Ramsey played just one game following the disappointing withdrawal of Cefn Druids and Airbus UK Broughton, but a young side coached by Eric Ramsey beat Bangor University to reach the last eight.
There will be three Cardiff-based teams in the finals on June 5 - Cardiff Cymru, Merthyr Town and Cardiff University.
The other qualifiers are Gap Connah's Quay, CSKA Talybont, Llandudno Town and Penmaenmawr Pheonix.
The Finals will be played at the Futsal Centre in Cardiff and the winners will then go on to represent Wales in the UEFA Futsal Cup between August 13 and 21.
Futsal is a rapidly-developing and mainly indoor version of the game in which teams have five players including the goalkeeper and unlimited substitutions are allowed.
