DIRECTOR of football Mike Davies has made his third capture of the summer after agreeing terms with Rhyl wingman Chris Williams. The 26-year-old has spent the last two seasons with the Lilywhites, scoring four goals from 21 (+6) Welsh Premier appearances in 2009/10 before the club's demotion to the Huws Gray Alliance.
But he has today agreed terms with the Park Hall outfit, who have beaten a number of clubs to his signature.
A pacey winger who can play on either flank, Manchester-born Williams is a product of Stockport County's youth system and made his Football League debut as a substitute at the age of just 16 years 256 days in a 1-1 League One draw against Watford.
After 34 league appearances and a further three in a loan spell at Grimsby Town, plus loan time at Leigh RMI and Northwich VIctoria, he was released from Edgeley Park in March 2006.
A broken leg curtailed a permanent transfer to the Vics and he moved on to Stalybridge Celtic, where he scored five goals in 25 appearances, and Fleetwood Town, before arriving in north Wales.
Last week, TNS signed former Derby County reserve centre-back Jermaine Johnson and ex-Wales Under-21 defender Simon Spender.
