Anglesey to visit Park Hall for friendly

Asa ThomasTHE New Saints will host Ynys Mon in a pre-season friendly at Park Hall on Sunday 12 June (2.00pm) as both teams prepare for important competitions.
While the hosts kick-off their Europa League campaign at the end of the June, the visitors will be taking part in the 14th NatWest Island Games which are being staged on the Isle of Wight.
Anglesey have been drawn to face the host island on 26 June (7.30), followed by Gibraltar on 27 June 27 (7.00) and then Alderney in the final group match on 28 June 6.30).
The Ynys Mon squad is: Ben Heald (Rhyl), Paul Pritchard (Warrington Town), Mathew Hughes, Steve Kehoe (Llangefni Town), Melvin McGinness, Alex Jones, Mike Kelly (Holyhead Hotspur), Dion Donohue (Bodedern Athletic), Rhys Roberts, Darren Gowans, Richie Owen, Gareth Owen, Richard Hughes (Porthmadog), Richard Owen, Arwyn Owen (Llanfairpwll), Iwan Williams (Llandudno), Chris Williams (Chester) and hotshot Asa Thomas (Trearddur Bay United), the most prolific scorer in Welsh football, who netted more than 100 goals last season.
The team is managed by Martin Jones, with Dyfed Parry filling the head coach role and John Pritchard as team co-ordinator.
The winner of each group will progress to the semi-finals while all the other Islands will have a play-off match for final position in the tournament.
