THE New Saints' wingman Chris Williams believes FC Midtjylland could find it difficult adjusting to playing on an artificial pitch in tonight's Europa League tie."Most teams that come here find it difficult," Willo told BBC Radio Shropshire. "The ball bounces differently, it's hard to adjust."
After winning their first-ever away tie against Cliftonville in Belfast seven days ago, TNS face a difficult task against the Danish outfit, who hammered Bangor 10-1 on aggregate three years ago.
Midtjylland, known as the 'Black Wolves', finished fourth in their top flight last season and go into tonight’s game on a high, after beating Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen 5-4 in a friendly in Germany on Friday.
But Williams, who is using his experiences of playing against the Saints for Rhyl to get used to Park Hall's synthetic turf, is upbeat.
"It's nice we're not playing at Wrexham on grass, that would have suited them," he said.
"You can play on here several times but it's not enough. Playing for Rhyl we were 4-0 down after 20 minutes, I hardly touched the ball."
