Young keeper Alex wins Welsh call-up

YOUNG Saints' keeper Alex Ramsay has won a call-up to the Wales Under-18 semi-professional squad.The Welsh will play their Republic of Ireland counterparts in a friendly at Holyhead Hotspur's New Oval on Wednesday 3 August (6.00pm).
A member of the TNS Scholarship Scheme, Alex spent last season on-loan at Caersws, where he was voted player of the season and received a glowing recommendation from the Bluebirds' experienced manager Mickey Evans.
He was added to the Saints' Europa League squad this summer and travelled to both Belfast and Herning as understudy to first team keeper Paul Harrison.
