Keeper Alex gets his cap
Saturday 27 August 2011
YOUNG Saints' keeper Alex Ramsay received his Wales Under-18 cap during last night's Welsh Premier game against Prestatyn at Park Hall.
The 18-year-old played for an FAW Under-18 semi-professional XI against the Republic of Ireland at Holyheads' New Oval earlier this month.
A member of the TNS Scholarship Scheme along with his brother Eric, Ramsay spent last season on-loan at Caersws, where he was named the Bluebirds' player of the season.
He is now a member of the Saints' first-team squad as deputy to Paul Harrison and has just returned from a week in Geneva, where he was an important member of the TNS Futsal squad that played in the Uefa Futsal Cup.
