THE New Saints' chief Mike Davies enthused about the 3-0 Wednesday night defeat of Neath at Park Hall.
Goals from Steve Evans, Greg Draper and Alex Darlington secured the win, as TNS reserved their best performance of the season to date for the visit of their fellow full-timers.
"It was a thoroughly professional performance, the three points were very important but it was a faultless display," Davies said.
"We were comfortable from the off, I know they had a player sent-off but we were superb right through and it was just a great football game for us that the lads can be proud of.
"It's been coming and hopefully we can build on that and keep it going.
"Everything pleased me, the players stuck together, the quality of the football, the urgency, the desire, the passion and everyone wanting the ball, the movement was fantastic and it was a credit to everyone.
"It's a huge week, we've started well with six points and we'll go into Saturday's game at Bangor with a lot of confidence."
