THE New Saints Football Club has a vacancy for a full-time first team chartered physiotherapist.

Salary: Negotiable
Location: The New Saints FC, The Venue, Oswestry, Shropshire
Starting date: 17 October 2011
Working hours: Will include evenings and weekends depending on fixtures and training schedule.

Role:

• Assessment and treatment of all first team players injuries from the day of injury through to return to play.
• Injury assessment and treatment of academy and scholarship players.
• Design and implement injury prevention programmes for all first team players.
• Attend all first team matches and training sessions.
• Work closely the management, coaching team and club doctor to ensure they are fully up to date with all players’ injuries and training status.

Requirements:

• A qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy.
• Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC).

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience in the sporting environment (preferably football).
• Emergency pitch side management qualification.
