Matty an injury doubt for Talbot clash

MATTY Williams is a fitness doubt for Saturday's home clash between The New Saints and Port Talbot Town at Park Hall (2.30pm).
The Saints' leading scorer with eight goals this season, Williams sustained a calf injury in training this week and faces a race against time to feature against the Steelmen.
"Matty has been in great form but we have a good squad of players and if he is ruled out then we have every confidence we have the strength in depth to cover," says director of football Mike Davies.
Better news for the Saints' chief is that striker Greg Draper, who picked-up a first-half injury in the 2-2 draw at Bala Town, has returned to full fitness and is available for selection, looking to add to his tally of six goals.
Meanwhile Davies backed his side to bounce back from last weekend’s disappointment, after Bala hit back to draw from two goals in arrears.
"Bala are a good side and not too many sides will win at Maes Tegid this season," added Davies.
"Although it is a blow to lose our winning run, we are realistic and know we cannot win them all.
"Port Talbot Town will come here with confidence after beating us at the Genquip earlier this season, but our lads want to get back to winning ways as soon as possible and it will be good to see how we react to the Bala result."
