LAST Saturday the Under-8, Under-9 and Under-10s played Crewe Development Centre at Crewe.
Our long layoff did us no favours as we looked a little rusty and we also tired in the latter stages of all the games.
On the positive side we played some excellent football and matched the teams from Crewe for ability and skill.
Final scores were Under-8 lost 4-2, Under-9s lost 5-2 and Under-10s lost 6-2.
All in all a great day out and thanks to all players, parents and coaches involved from The New Saints.
Thanks also to Ray Walker and all at Crewe for their hospitality.
